The Texas Roundup complies with all UIL and NCAA restrictions to protect the eligibility of the participants.  Participation in this event does not preclude the participants from competing in other all-star games, as students are permitted to participate in two All-Star games prior to graduation.

Maypearl is located approximately 10 miles west of Waxahachie on FM 66 or about 35 miles south, southwest of Dallas.
